Workshop Facilitator

After speaking with Tanya Lewis on the phone I decided she would be perfect to run a "Declutter your life" workshop at our recent womens retreat.  This workshop was a combination of useful tips and information with a focus on the environment and sustainability and a fun activity thrown in as well. Tanya was more than happy to answer questions and help the women individually and made the session interesting and enjoyable.  Thanks Tanya!

De Clutter the handbags revealed some interesting surprises.

From my own handbag I removed 500gr of STUFF that I really didn't need everyday.

That equates to an extra 182.5kg I carry each year....why?

Not good for our backs, shoulders and posture in general.

Lot's of laughs and fun with this group.

Thank you so much for your help, I am thrilled with the flow and ease of movement joining the two rooms. I have even take nearly everything off the top of the unit to see what a difference that makes and it does feel better. But what I cannot believe is what a can of worms I have opened!!!!!!!

Took the round table and chairs to new st auction rooms and they did us a big favour and gave us $100 for the lot. I was expecting more but not to be.I actually really liked the little round table that I bought in from outside and have been enjoying meals for one on it

Oh my goodness, what a life saver.

We have downsizes to a smaller house while renovating family home.

Things were starting to get out of control, not knowing where the childrens clothes, wasting time looking for things, just generally things just piling up. Within 4 hours Tanya and I had it sorted, labeled and organised in a logical manner.I feel human again and ready to tackle the renovating and looking after my family.

Tanya's visit clarified my storage and organising ideas.

She was able to look at our space and things with fresh ideas.

I can now see how to reuse, reduce, recycle or rearrange and not hoard.

I didnt realise we had so much storage, I was always complaining we never had enough, it was a matter of sorting, rearranging and sometimes letting go.

She provided plenty of ideas of responsible disposal of our unwanted stuff.

We are now utilising our space fully and loving the 10 R's

I've added a number of things to my to do list. First off to find a charity shop I like to donate those things to.

I'll be referring back to your website to keep me inspired and remind me of tips.

We were lucky to be able to borrow the outdoor setting and I think we chose well with our plant selection and my girlfriend did the flower arrangements.

Between us, we worked out a schedule and without fail, Tanya was on time, knew exactly where she was heading and simply accomplished a miraculous feat! I couldn't have done it without her help and took a huge weight off my shoulders. Her packing style too was unqiue, using lots of my blankets, towels and doonas to "cushion" everything imaginable. I was due to have a baby in only 10 weeks. I was worried how I would cope with this in my current disorganised house: never being able to find things; having 5 different areas for the same thing; and an office that was in a shambles. I asked Tanya to come and have a wander through my house to see what could be changed to run my house and office more efficiently. Tanya gave helpful and inexpensive advice on what I could do to make things a bit easier on myself.

After Tanya sorted my linen cupboard and one of my kids' rooms I was inspired. Time and space are definitely at a premium in our household. Tanya Lewis proved to be a great asset to my wife Donna and I in the latter part of 2007.

During that time Donna was recuperating from major surgery and Tanya's innovative business was just perfect for our needs. Tanya was able to assist with house keeping, shopping and generally assisting with our daily needs.

In particular Tanya excelled in making arrangements with trades people including making appointments, obtaining quotations and in some cases supervising completion of works. We wish Tanya well in her business which is so relevant to the needs of many people on the Peninsula.
