De clutter for a simpler life leaves Bright with a brighter future

Our De-clutter for a simpler life workshop helps raise funds for local hospital and a Bright future.

After our recent visit to beautiful Bright in north east Victoria, to run our popular “De clutter for a simpler life-the 10R’s©” workshop, we certainly stirred a few people into de clutter action.

So much quality unwanted items were donated to the local op shops. All funds raised from the sale of the donated items goes back into the helping the local hospital, CFA and other local community groups.

Our message is to only donate things in good condition and things you would buy, in other words- RESPONSIBLE disposal

This small community alone spends $15 000 per year on tip fees. With a little thought before donating, we can save a lot of time for the op shop volunteers and save money for our local communities.

We estimate over 2500kg of unwanted items were donated to the local op shop and library. Without a good sort and declutter these item may still be clogging and cluttering homes, making us feel depressed, or it may have been simply throw in the bin.

At some stage these items were important to us, but are no longer relevant, in other words they have become clutter.

Time to RETHINK the things that no longer appeal or inspire you, plus they take up valuable space.

When we practise responsible dispose we can help others and help protect our planet.

So why not create space in your life for the things you love and need

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the Bright Library for inviting us to speak to your community and to everyone for attending the workshop.
